Clinical & Reformer Pilates

Clinical Pilates combines traditional Pilates exercises with rehabilitation techniques to target specific musculoskeletal issues or injuries through personalised exercise programs developed after assessing movement patterns, muscle imbalances, and weaknesses.

Your initial 1:1 60 minute consultation allows for a thorough history taking process and assessment to ensure that all concerns are addressed, allowing for a tailored approach to your recovery and goals.

What is Clinical Pilates?

Reformer Pilates focuses on improving core strength, flexibility, balance and overall body awareness. It offers a low-impact, full-body workout suitable for people of all fitness levels and it can be customised to target specific areas or accommodate injuries or other issues.

Our unique boutique studio setting has two reformer beds, ensuring that any injuries or concerns you may have are considered and addressed when providing a resistance based class.

What is Reformer Pilates?

Who is Clinical and/or Reformer Pilates for?

The great thing about Pilates is that it can cater for anyone, regardless of their age, experience, fitness, flexibility or strength.

The springs on the reformer create resistance, so by adding or removing a spring the intention of the exercise and what muscles it works can change. Furthermore, using heavier springs does not necessarily equal a harder workout. The springs are there to support you and depending on the exercise, a lighter spring may require more strength and control.

Because of this, using the reformer pilates beds means that anyone can try a session.
