Dr. Danielle Tjahjana graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). She is a passionate Osteopath who strives to provide a holistic experience for her patients. She utilises the biopsychosocial model to approach each patient individually, ensuring that all aspects of that persons life are taken into consideration when devising a suitable management plan. Whilst treating, she uses a range of techniques including soft tissue massage, dry needling and cupping. She also believes in educating her clients on optimising their recovery and improving their body awareness.
Dani has a keen interest in women’s health, having completed further professional development through the Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institute that allows her to treat a range of women’s conditions including pelvic pain, incontinence and bladder complaints, prolapse concerns as well as provide pre and postnatal care. This includes birth preparation techniques as well as the six week postnatal check-up. Furthermore she is able to provide internal pelvic health assessments and treatments.
Dani is also a qualified Clinical Pilates Instructor and often includes various exercises, including stretches and mobility work into treatment plans.
As a mother of two little ones, she understands the joys and challenges of this incredible role. She respects that trying to create a work life balance or just maintaining self care can be difficult and does her best to offer you easy to manage, time efficient solutions to your presenting complaint.
